Since graduating in 1996 Anouska has been an active contributor to the London contemporary dance scene through performing, performing, choreography and teaching. Anouska has a long relationship with yoga starting as a child, and then developing her practise since the early 90’s and eventually decided to take on the challenge of becoming vinyasa flow yoga teacher. Specialising in teaching yoga for dancers and later qualifying in pre and postnatal yoga, injury recovery and management as well as becoming a certified Embodied Yoga Principles teacher. After taking up climbing 4 years ago she is currently looking at how yoga can improve both physical and psychological performance for climbers through both a traditional asana practice and using Embodied Yoga Principles, a method that helps participants take yoga off the mat and into life or in this case onto the wall or mountain. Anouska was teaching regular open classes in London which have now moved onto Zoom open to anyone who enjoys moving as well as teaching specialist classes for athletes.
