Fernanda Silva

Born in 1990, she studied at the National Conservatory in Lisbon and continued her studies at ArtEZ Dance Academy in Arnhem, graduating in 2014. Throughout her journey she has danced for choreographers such as Joeri Dubbe, Jéròme Meyer & Isabelle Chaufaud and Sita Ostheimer. She co-founded Danscollectief Arnhemse Meisjes in 2015 and created pieces such as "Ha ha ha ha", which was selected for ITS Festival - Christina de Chatel Award, "Suppressed Dialogues vol. 1", "To React Upon" & "Round is a Shape". Her latest creation is "Out Of My Mind", a solo for Julia Heider. She developed her own dance/movement method Groovement and has taught workshops and classes at different institutions and levels. In September 2019 she joined Momo Theaterwerkplaats and recently left the Danscolectief Arnhemse Meisjes and started the Master of Dance and Movement Therapy in Codarts, Rotterdam.
