In this stress filled world, we can easily become overwhelmed and pushed into the heightened state of hyper-arousal (Rajas in yoga philosophy), or when we are overwhelmed, into a numb or heavy hypo-aroused state (Tamas in Yoga Philosophy). In this practice, we will begin to reconnect with our body, syncing our movements with our breath to bring us back into alignment into the Sattvic, centred state where we can be in union with Yoga.
Learning outcomes
1. Practice exhale focused breathing as the base upon which to build our yoga practice
2. Develop mindful awareness of the state of our body
3. Sync the Body, Breath and Mind to Release stress, reset out nervous systems, and re-energize ourself.
