The Eros of Embodiment

The eros of embodiment is a reclamation of the sacred nature of our body. Our embodied erotic nature is beyond what we do, it is a proclamation of how we feel. In the embodied words of Black Lesbian Activist and poet, Audrey Lorde (1984), the erotic “is the open and fearless underlining of [our] capacity for joy”. In this workshop, participants are invited to witness a partnership of difference and unity framed in justice, equity, diversity and inclusivity centered around the social justice movements in Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities and their accomplices.
