There is a long history of the body as a site of revolt - including both cultural, political and psychic revolt. At this point in time, as humans live, breathe, eat and move amidst the anthropocene (from the mundane to bursts of apocalyptic violence), I call for an “interspecies” imagination that revolts against the grand narrative of Human Exceptionalism. This revolt requires a tough examination of some key concepts such as Ecology, Nature and Embodiment.
