Re-Rooting in the Universe Open Floor: Somatic practice with Art in Motion

The human race is dying. It is like a great uprooted tree, with its roots in the air. We must plant ourselves again in the Universe" D.H. Lawrence In this one hour of a creative laboratory, we will slow down and use Open Floor movement resources to re-root ourselves again. We will combine the power of movement meditation with the sound of nature, inquiry, and expressive art/writing. We will play, we will stir our hearts and minds to plant ourselves again in the Universe. Please bring some artistic materials: an old magazine, paper, anything you can draw with, write or sketch. No previous experience necessary. Every Body welcome.
