A little science and movement to discover the power of interoception
Interoception can be defined simply as information obtained from inside the body: everything we sense and therefore know, underneath our skin. In this presentation, a brief sharing of the concept of interoception as our inner wisdom pathway, supported by a little science and theory - and several expertientials from the presenters “polyvagal-informed soma-movement and dance /movement therapy” practices - will illuminate interoception as a primary Dance/Movement Psychotherapy skill, as well as a powerful portal to empowerment.
